PROJECT: ACANTHUS

LOCATION: BONDI

ARCHITECT: FMLA

Despite being situated in the sunny eastern beaches of Sydney, this project embraces the coastal feel and lush textures of a Mediterranean oasis.

In collaboration with FMLA, the front garden is designed to envelop the streetscape in greenery, while the rear gardens offer an entertainer's paradise.

Vegetation will cascade over the architecture wherever possible, allowing the additional stories of the house to blend into the landscape. We took a playful approach with the plant palette, using silvery plantings complemented by vibrant tropicals to create a sense of depth.
